The Conjuring

While demonologists Ed and Lorraine enjoy a romantic second honeymoon in Cancún, a serious incident at their San Telmo home puts their daughter Judy in grave danger. A neighbor, noticing strange activity at the house, notifies Father Pérez, a family friend and priest. When he arrives, he is confronted with a scene of demonic possession that forces him to perform an urgent exorcism, with no time to wait for church authorization. After Father Pérez contacts them, Ed and Lorraine immediately return and, together with a group of parapsychologist friends, enter the house and find the clock frozen at 3:07. They realize that irreversible events will occur in one hour. At that moment the front door slams shut, trapping them in the entrance hall and preventing them from reaching the bedroom, where Father Pérez is likely performing the exorcism.
