The Conjuring

While demonologists Ed and Lorraine enjoy a romantic second honeymoon in Cancún, a serious incident at their San Telmo home puts their daughter Judy in grave danger. Noticing strange movements in the house, a neighbor alerts Father Pérez, a priest and friend of the family. When he arrives, he finds a scene of demonic possession that forces him to perform an exorcism immediately, with no time to wait for the church’s authorization. When Father Pérez sends word, Ed and Lorraine rush back and, together with a group of parapsychologist friends, enter the house only to find the clock frozen at 3:07. They soon realize that irreversible events will unfold in one hour. At that moment the front door slams shut, trapping them in the entry hall and blocking any access to the bedroom, where Father Pérez is likely conducting the exorcism.
